error msg in Lunar: "ERROR-SURFCE: 20 ITERATIONS IN UNSTABLE CASE"

The run in question is a sensitivity experiment with all Modern boundary conditions, except no CFCs and the solar luminosity reduced by 3.84% (1314.14 W/m^2).

This run on a Mac G4 crashed early on in the usual way, whereas on my G5 the run completed over 200 years without incident. However, when running on a Dell PC under EdGCM 3.1, the run finished 77 years before generating the above error message *inside* the Lunar window, followed by "The GCM is no longer running."
