Preferences
EVA has preferences that may be configured and saved between sessions. You can access the preferences control window via
- Mac: EVA Menu > Preferences
- Windows: File > Preferences
There are preferences for the following behaviors:
Application
- Check for new version of EVA each time EVA is launched
- Check if you would like to save your images when a map or plot window is closed
Map Window
- Automatically generate an image when a file is opened (rather than just open the file in the data browser.
- Interpolate images by default. Note that turning on/off interpolate on the toolbar turns on/off this preference
- Show diagnostic values below the colorbar. Note that turning on/off diagnostics via the contextual menu turns on/off this preference
Plot Window
- Automatically generate an plot when a file is opened (rather than just open the file in the data browser.
- Automatically scale plot when turning on/off lines (same as pressing the ^v button)
- Leave Ocean Ice off by default
- Show or hide the legend by default. Note that turning on/off the legend in the plot window turns on/off this preference
