Requesting Features
The first step towards making a request is to search the existing tickets.
There's also chance that EdGCM already supports what you're looking for, so make sure you've explored the documentation along with EdGCM's preferences and menus. If you find through searching that somebody has already requested what you're looking for, feel free to add new information or ideas to their existing ticket.
If you cannot find an existing ticket (it may take several searches using different keywords) on your bug you should create a new one.
Creating a new Feature Request Ticket
Requesting a feature is straightforward. Simply create a ticket.
After you create the ticket, it is a good idea to bookmark it and check it periodically if you do not provide an email address in the "email or username" or CC fields. We may require additional information, or have an alpha or beta version for you to test. If we can't get this information, we may end up closing the ticket without actually implementing the feature simply because we don't know enough about what you want.
Note that if you do list your email address, the Trac system will automatically notify you when the ticket is updated.
